Services Offered: Counselling

Currently accepting new clients.

Judy has had 7 years of experience providing support for individuals across various settings, including post-secondary, community-based services, and non-profit settings. She has supported individuals in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship concerns. She values compassion, empathy, and self-awareness, and feels passionate about the implementation of culturally sensitive approaches to counselling to support individuals as they navigate their journeys.

Judy works from an integrative approach, primarily drawing Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She recognizes that the process of seeking and engaging in therapy can be overwhelming and uncomfortable at times. As such, she aims to foster a nonjudgmental and supportive environment to help clients organize and make sense of their experiences and to facilitate the development of self-understanding and self-compassion.
